Up and Down...Up and down

My weight has been a total rollercoster this year. Up and down. Seems like I have been gaining and losing the same 7 pounds all year. Today, my weight is 224.5. Two weeks ago it was 233.1 Wow! This is what I have observed. Mostly it has been my own fault. I have been getting slack and not writing out my calorie intake. The exercise component is there but I have been eating more than I should. Listed below is what I did to lose 8lbs in 2 weeks.

1. Booked an appointment to see the dietitian: Trish was great. She didn't grill me or make me feel guilty. She actually gave me alot of praise because she said I was the only Lapband patient that she had counciled that lost as much weight as I had! That really made me feel good. We talked about a food log, drinking tons of water and eating 30 minutes before I wake up. I was reluctant but I did it. Last week after 3 weeks, I was down 4lbs.(227.1) I go back and see her on April 12 and my goal is to be 215. Wish me luck!

2. Jazzercise 4-5 days a week is a must. I can actually say that I love JAZZERCISE! Its fun, it hurts sometimes but I feel great afterwards. Since I beefed it up to 4-5 times a week. I dropped another 4lbs.

I think the plateau is over! I am on to the finish line of weight 199 on my Bandaversary Day May 25.
